The Chamber of Commerce luncheon will begin at noon at Glen Lake Camp Jan. 15.

The Glen Rose Bird Club will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 15, at the Spirit Wind Church in Glen Rose. Members will discuss and plan the upcoming calendar year. Also, issues concerning the Glen Rose Bird Sanctuary will be addressed. Refreshments will be served. The meeting is open to the public

The Somervell County Committee on Aging Shop & Swap is held the third Friday of each month, from 9:30 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Citizenís Center.

Girlís Night Out will be held from 5-9 p.m. Jan. 17 in downtown Glen Rose.

A town hall meeting to discuss the formation of a countywide hospital district has been set for 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 20, at the Citizenís Center. Gary Marks will explain GRMCís position on the district.

Community Resources Network will have its first meeting from 11:45 a.m.-1 p.m. Jan. 20 at the Glen Rose Senior Center. You can bring your own lunch or buy lunch at the Senior Center for $5 or $3.50 for those who are 60 and over. If you choose to buy your lunch at the center, call 254-897-2139.
