A free community-wide Easter egg hunt will be held at 2 p.m. on April 11 at the Soccer Park behind the Somervell County Expo Center. Separate areas for preschool age and younger, and older than preschool will be set up. Fifth grade is the age limit. The event is sponsored in part by Rainbow Baptist Church.
The Glen Rose Garden club will hold its next monthly meeting on Tuesday, April 14, for its annual field trip. The Somervell County Relay for Life will kick off their annual fundraiser from 5 p.m.-6 a.m. April 24-25 at the Glen Rose Soccer Park. The overnight event is used to help raise money for cancer research.
