Members of the Walnut Springs Historical Association, including (left to right) Paula Jones, Sara McCombs, Linda Weir and Donna Edwards, dished out fried catfish, French fries, slaw, beans and all the trimmings last Saturday night at a benefit held to raise money for the historical museum in Walnut Springs. After dinner, donated items were auctioned. Bosque County Commissioner Durwood Koonsman, whose district includes Walnut Springs, did the frying. The museum is open Friday and Saturday afternoons.
