Special to the Reporter

We had a wonderful turnout of approximately 90 people at our Thanksgiving lunch. Glenda and her helpers are getting the Citizen’s Center all decked out for Christmas. Feel free to come by and see the lights and decorations.

We are looking forward to Christmas lunch on Dec. 17. Be sure and come early because the Hinkle Family Gospel group will be here to perform between 11 a.m. and noon. Our yearly annual Trust Fund Christmas party is scheduled for Friday, Dec. 12. Call the Center at 897-2139 to have your name added to our reservation list.

Activities at the Center beginning on Nov. 24 are: “42” and quilting on Monday; needlework, exercise, ceramics and Tops on Tuesday; monthly birthday party and grocery shopping on Wednesday; closed for Thanksgiving on Thursday and Friday.

If there is anyone interested in an electric hospital bed, please call the Citizen’s Center and we will put you in touch with a client who needs to move one out of her home.
