The city of Glen Rose and Oakdale Park host the First Friday Summer Concert Series, featuring Johnson County's Jimmy Jones Band (JJB). Creation Evidence Museum of Texas holds a dedication ceremony for its newest display, a 25-foot, to scale, replica of Noah's Ark at 10:30 a.m. Saturday. Admission is $5 per person and allows visitors to view the full-slate of creation evidence the facility offers. While you're there, stick around for the 2 p.m. lecture by Director Carl Baugh.
