Bo Gibbs Boulevard and U.S. Highway 67 is proving to be a dangerous intersection. The second collision in the past several months between an 18-wheeler and an automobile occurred there around 3 p.m. Monday. Neither driver was injured in the accident. The truck driver said he was swinging out and preparing to make a wide right-hand turn from Bo Gibbs to head west on Highway 67. Glen Rose police offer Buck Martin said that the driver of the Toyota Highlander said she thought she saw the left-hand turn light blinking on the truck. As she also turned right her vehicle collided with the truck, peeling off the left front and scraping the side. Neither driver received a citation. Drivers are reminded to use extra care and be aware of exiting trucks and trailers at this busy intersection.
