The Glen Rose Antique Tractor & Machinery Club holds its ninth annual Winter Show and Pull, as well as a quit show, this Friday and Saturday at the Somervell County Expo.

The indoor activities and exhibitions include a parade Saturday at noon, a kiddie pedal tractor pull at 1 p.m., displays of engines and machinery, model tractors and tractor games.

This year’s featured tractor is Massey Harris.

Admission is $5 for ages 12 and up, $3 for ages three to 11 and free for children under 3 years.

Lloyd Wirt, the club’s president, said attendees travel from all over the state to display or check out the vintage tractors. “People are eager to show what they’ve been building and working on all the past year,” Wirt said.

Anyone who has an antique or new quilt and would like to exhibit it may do so free. Exhibitors are asked to write a brief history of the quilt and bring it with the entry.

Quilts will be accepted for the show Thursday after 4 p.m. and Friday from 8-10 a.m. They may be picked up Saturday after 3 p.m.
