Alpha Delta Beta, Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi held its recent meeting at the Somervell County Citizens Center. Members enjoyed a St. Patrick’s Day theme and hostesses Crickett Bacon, Betty Gosdin and Sharon Patton served hot dogs and delicious desserts.
President Sharon Schultz presided over the meeting.
Extension Officer Julie Locke,updated the sorority on plans for the annual Founder’s Day event, which is scheduled for April 27 at Storiebook Café.
Social Committee Chairman Shirley Reinke updated the group on plans for the Spring Fling in Grapevine. Service Committee Chairman Deanna Hardie discussed current service projects underway.
A special “Order of the Rose” ceremony was conducted. Degrees Committee Chairman Cynthia Joyner Marshall presented this special designation of the “Order of the Rose” to Melodie Isham, who was in attendance and received her degree and pin. Debbie Davis and Gina Spencer were not present but also were awarded their degrees and pins in the ceremony.
