Cherokee Rose and Reliant Rehabilitation are proud to sponsor Arthritis Awareness Month by offering techniques and tips to effectively manage pain.

In honor of our Arthritis Awareness Month, a free educational event will be held at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 29, featuring yoga instruction at Cherokee Rose Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, located at 203 Bo Gibbs Drive.

These specially designed classes can teach how to manage pain and can help you take positive action when symptoms arise.

Since its inception in 1948, it has been the goal of the Arthritis Foundation to educate Arthritis patients about their disease and to fund research determining the underlying causes of Arthritis and discovering more effective treatment, and eventually a cure.

If you have any additional questions about this free event, please contact Ashley Woodley at (512) 924-0789 or Tim Purviance (806) 672-4594.
