Officials have confirmed a shooting in the Nemo area around 12:30 p.m. Wednesday.

About an hour after the March 12 shooting, which scanner traffic said occurred on CR 419, Somervell County Sheriff Greg Doyle spoke with the Reporter. He said there was a single victim and a lone suspect.

At least two ambulances and a medical helicopter were called to the scene, where Doyle said both the suspect and victim had sustained injury.

Doyle said he believed the shooting was a result of an argument, and the victim - shot in the leg - was flown to a hospital.

At 2 p.m. Wednesday, the sheriff said there had not yet been an arrest in the case.

When asked for additional information just prior to press time, Doyle, citing the ongoing investigation, said additional details will not be immediately provided.

Stay tuned to for more details, which will be reported as they become available.
