GLEN ROSE — Bill Cooper, 71, passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2008, in Glen Rose.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 12, 2008, at the Glen Rose First Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Squaw Creek Cemetery in Rainbow. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. this evening at the Wiley Funeral Home.
Mr. Cooper was born June 4, 1936, in San Angelo, to Ernest Doyle Cooper and Margaret Wyntre Jackson Cooper. He earned his Bachelor and Masters Degrees in Civil Engineering from the Texas A&M University.
Preceding him in death were his parents and his first wife, Shirley Elliott Cooper.
Survivors include wife, Barbara Cooper of Glen Rose; children, Linda Bazard and husband, Greg, Dorothy McHugtt and husband, Jay, Doyle Cooper and wife, Gina, Karl Cooper and wife, Donna, Laura Monasher and husband, Saleb, Debbye Murphy, Scott Murphy, Lisa Murphy, Kandy Weason and husband, Tony; 17 grandchildren; brother, Bud Cooper; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
