GLEN ROSE — Jimmy Branham, 68, passed away Wednesday, July 21, in Fort Worth.
A funeral service was held , July 26, at Cottonwood Baptist Church. followed at Creek Cemetery in Rainbow.
Branham was born Feb. 10, 1942, in Midland, to Charles Weldon Branham and Cleo Bennett Branham. He married Ida Wallace, July 14, 1970, in Glen Rose. He lived in Glen Rose most of his life and was a member of Cottonwood Baptist Church.
Branham was self-employed in the construction industry and helped his wife with Ikie's Restaurant in Glen Rose. He was a former member of the Masonic Lodge.
Preceding him in death were his parents and a son, Ricky Dwayne Wallace, in 2008.
Survivors are his wife, Ida "Ikie" Branham, of Glen Rose; sons Mike Wallace and wife, Greta, of Glen Rose and Paul Douglas Wallace and wife, Kristy, of Benbrook; daughters Beverly Wood and husband, Joe, of Glen Rose and Misty Yell and husband, Shane, of Louisiana; 12 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; brother Travis Branham and wife, Linda, of Stephenville; sister Ann Nail and husband, John, of Rainbow; three aunts, one uncle and numerous nieces and nephews.
Wiley Funeral Home handled arrangements.
