GRANBURY — Thomas Ray Marbut, 71, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 31 in Granbury.
Funeral services were held Friday at Wiley Funeral Home. Entombment was at Holly Hills Mausoleum.
Marbut was born Feb. 23, 1939, in Grandview, to Robert Lee Marbut and Plura Miller Marbut. He had lived in Granbury for 32 years. He was retired from Santa Fe Railroad and had worked as superintendent at Squaw Creek Park.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Troy Marbut, and son-in-law, Mark Harvey.
Survivors are a son, Monty Marbut and wife, Krystal, of Granbury; daughter, Delana Harvey, of Granbury; grandchildren Shelly, Brandy, Sarah, Branden, Skylen and Scarlett; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Louis Marbut of Grandview; sisters Jim Berg and Nell Kelly, both of Cleburne; and several nieces and nephews.
