GLEN ROSE -- Bobbie Davis Keller, 87, passed away Sunday, July 15, in Glen Rose.
A service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 17, at Rainbow Baptist Church.
Burial will follow in Georges Creek Cemetery in Georges Creek.
A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, July 16, at Wiley Funeral Home.
Bobbie was born Sept. 15, 1924 in Rainbow to Ivan Davis and Sarah "Sadie" Shackelford. She was a life-time resident of Somervell County and a lifelong member of Rainbow Baptist Church and helped in Vacation Bible School.
She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and sewing, but most of all, spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Bobbie received the "Outstanding Older Texan" award in 2008.
Preceding her in death were her parents, three brothers, four sisters and her husband of 54 years, L.E. Keller, in 1996.
Survivors are a son, Jerry L. Keller, of Rainbow; daughter and husband, Cathy and David Jones, of Weatherford; grandson and wife, Kevin and Kathy Keller, of Glen Rose; granddaughter and husband, Jenifer and Mark Houdmann, of Maypearl; granddaughter Jill Jones of Fort Worth; great-grandson Kyle L. Keller of College Station; great-grandson Charlie Houdmann of Maypearl; and several nieces and nephews.
