GLEN ROSE - Freddie Louise Rogers, 88, passed away Tuesday, March 23, in Glen Rose.
A memorial service was held at 11 a.m. March 26 at Cornerstone Church in Glen Rose. A graveside service followed at 2 p.m. March 28 at the Old Sandy Plains Cemetery in Marietta, Ga.
Rogers was born March 17, 1922, in Marietta, Ga., to George Fred Rogers and Clara Davis Rogers. She owned and operated two restaurants in Marietta, the Tower and the Southernair. She was a member of the Eastern Star.
She had lived in Glen Rose since 2004 and was a member of the Cornerstone Church.
Survivors include sister, Frances Walker, of Faulkville, Ala.; and several nieces and nephews, including Priscilla Locke of Glen Rose.
