GLEN ROSE — Jim Hall, 77, passed away Jan. 19 in Glen Rose.
A funeral service was held Saturday, Jan. 22, at Wiley Funeral Home. Burial was in Lanham Mill Cemetery in Somervell County.
Mr. Hall was born July 23, 1933, in Sciota, Ill., to Earnest and Genevieve Nelson Hall. He married Naomi Faye Bigsby on Sept. 10, 1955, in Illinois.
Jim was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He enjoyed fishing, yard work and gardening.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Faye Hall; daughter, Carolyn Sue Hall; brother, Jack Hall; sisters, Ethel Warrington, Alma Carter, Rosie Green; and grandson, Michael Hall.
Survivors are children Steven Hall and wife, Beth, Randy Hall and wife, Donna, Jay Hall and wife, Tammy, Ray Hall and wife, Hope, Tony Hall and Leroy Hall and wife, Sandy; grandchildren Daniel, Robert, Bryan, Sherri, Mickey, Dustin, Kevin, Chris, Clifton, Roxanna, Crystal, Anthony and Timothy; 24 great-grandchildren; brothers Percy Hall, Ronnie Hall, Earnest Hall, Jr. and Rodger Hall; sisters Jennette Craig, Cindy Hall, Helen Weiss and Susie Chandler; and numerous nieces and nephews.
