GLEN ROSE -- Arlene Leonard Pollock, 88, passed away Thursday, March 22, in Glen Rose.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 24, at Wiley Funeral Home.

Mrs. Pollock was born Aug. 11, 1923, in Olustee, Okla., to Jay W. and Ida McAdams Leonard. She married Morris E. Pollock on Dec. 29, 1941, in Coryell County, Texas.

Arlene took care of the office at Pollock and Sons Drilling Company. She was a devoted mother, an outstanding cook and her home was always spic and span. She was an active room mother for the P.T.A.

Arlene was a member of Glen Rose First United Methodist Church. She was the last of a large family of eight children.

Survivors are her children Gloria Crisp and husband, David, of Glen Rose, Eddie Pollock and wife, Mary, of Glen Rose and Bobby Pollock of Glen Rose; grandchildren Shelby Carpenter, Sloan Garcia, Jeremy Pollock and Nick Pollock; a great-grandchild, Annie Garcia; and a number of nieces and nephews.
