Dylan Ray Shook

SHERMAN - Services for Dylan Ray Shook, 16, of Sherman, who passed away unexpectedly at his home on Monday, Feb. 9, were held on Friday, Feb. 13, at Dannel Funeral Home. He was laid to rest on Saturday, Feb. 14, at Post Oak Cemetery in Glen Rose.

Shook was born August 6, 1992 in Granbury to John S. Shook and Rhonda Mitchell Rodriguez. He was an exemplary student at Sherman High School and involved in the choir, theater arts and Interact.

Shook was a wonderful, sweet and caring young man who would go the extra mile for his friends and family. He will be missed dearly by all those who loved and knew him, and will never be forgotten.

He is survived by his parents Rhonda and Mike Rodriguez of Sherman and Steve Shook of Fort Worth; sister and brother-in-law Rachel and Bobby Beau of Denison, sister Michelle Rodriguez of Fort Worth, brother Anthony Rodriguez of Oklahoma; sister and brother-in-law Julia and Joel Turnbow of Fort Worth, grandparents Paulene and Kenny Price of Granbury; grandfather Herb Shook of Hurst, Texas, and numerous aunts uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Shook was preceded in death by his grandfather Glenn Mitchell, his uncle Daryl Mitchell and grandmother Mary Shook.
