GLEN ROSE — Jeff Coleman, 49, died suddenly, Tuesday, March 18, 2008, from a sudden heart attack.

Funeral services were held on Friday, March 21, 2008, in the Chapel of Murchison Funeral Home with Rev. Greg Riner officiating. Burial followed in South Thompson Church Cemetery.

Jeff was a native of Wicksburg, Al. He was in the Air Force for eight years, stationed in Washington and Louisiana. He was a security officer working at Cape Canaveral and Comanche Peak Nuclear Plant. Jeff was a Baptist by faith, loved watching the Dallas Mavericks’ basketball games, and woodworks. He was always surrounded by his two dogs, Sassy and Peepeye.

Survivors include his wife, Jan Coleman of Glen Rose; daughter, Misty Coleman of Dothan, Al.; two sons, Justin and Taylor Coleman of San Antonio; his parents, Miller and Connie Coleman of Vidalia, Ga.; sister, Nancy Weekly and husband, Travis, of Vidalia, Ga.; brother, Steve Gray and wife, Debra, of Glen Rose; three grandchildren, Haley, Lindsey, and Merrick Coleman; three nieces and two nephews.
