Myrtle Edith Eddy
GLEN ROSE - Private Graveside services for Myrtle Edith Eddy, 93, of Glen Rose, were conducted at George’s Creek Cemetery on Sunday, May 31.
Mrs. Eddy passed away on Thursday, May, 28, 2009 at the Glen Rose Medical Center where she had been a resident for 11 years. She was born on December 2, 1915, in Somervell County, to James Tell and Cordelia Cheek Armstrong. She was a member of the Glenview Church of Christ.
Mrs. Eddy is survived by her son, Doug, and wife, Seung Hee and daughter, Priscilla Talley and husband, Paul, all of Cleburne. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Doug Eddy, Robert Eddy, Shane Eddy, Major Chad G. Carroll, Natalie Featherston Modica, Edith Featherston Kerns, and nine great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Warren Eddy, and her daughter, Janette Featherston, and son-in-law, Riley Featherston, parents, J.T. and Cordelia Cheek Armstrong, and eight brothers and sisters.
The family wishes to thank the wonderful caregivers at the Glen Rose Medical Center for their many years of loving care and service to their loved one.
