WALNUT SPRINGS — Larry Pullin, 65, of Walnut Springs, passed away Saturday afternoon, Oct. 2, in Scott & White Hospital in Temple.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 5, in the Walnut Springs Memorial United Methodist Church with Rev. Kathy Mahlow officiating.
Burial was in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Walnut Springs.
Larry, as he was known to his many friends, was born Oct. 1, 1945, in Meridian. He was a son of the late James Walker Pullin and Valerie Ruth Willis Pullin. He was raised in Walnut Springs and attended school in Clifton. He worked for Lone Star Gas Co. as a Service Specialist for 36 yeare before retiring.
He was a member of the Walnut Springs Memorial Methodist Church.
On June 8, 1968, he was united in marriage to Randy Outlaw in Clifton.
Serving as pallbearers were Claude Outlaw, Tim Outlaw, Tod Outlaw, Gary Cousins, Johnny Outlaw and Mike Edge.
His survivors include his wife, Randy Outlaw Pullin, of Walnut Springs; sons Clint Pullin of Meridian and Cody Pullin and his wife, Kayce, of Temple; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
The family requests that memorials be made in memory of Larry to a favorite charity.
