BURLESON — Jerry Coker, 66, passed away Saturday, Jan. 1, in Fort Worth.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Wiley Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Georges Creek Cemetery.
Jerry was born March 22, 1944, in Dublin to Buster and Verna Mae Purdy Coker. He married Deborah Kay Goodwin on October 8, 1994, in Glen Rose.
He was a member of the Light House Church in Burleson and was a musician with the “Tejas” and “Desperados” bands. He was a loving husband and father and enjoyed fishing, camping, football and poker.
Survivors are his wife, Debbie Coker; children Damon Coker, Jeremy Coker and Nicole Coker; grandchildren Olivia, Jessica, Derick and Clayton; brothers Jim Coker and Delmer Coker; and sister, Mona Askew.
