GILMER - Glennis Anne Woodall, 63, passed away Monday, Feb. 4, 2013.

A celebration of the life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9 at Mobberly Baptist Church in Longview.

Glennis was born on Dec. 29, 1949 in San Antonio to Brannon and Doniece Isenhower. She graduated from Sinton High School in 1968 and married Gary Stephen Woodall on Dec. 13, 1969. Glennis was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother who loved Jesus her Lord above all else and left this life to be with Him following a seven-month battle with pancreatic cancer.

Glennisí passion in life was to love God and stop abortion by reaching out to young women in unplanned pregnancies. She and Gary founded Promiseland Ministries and Hannah House Maternity Home in 1999 in Glen Rose, which relocated to Longview in 2010.

In 2008 Glennis founded Chosen Child Adoption Services out of a desire to see God glorified and families ministered to through the adoption process. She is best known by everyone she touched for having opened her arms in unconditional love to anyone in need of help and for teaching others to do the same. Hundreds of young women, children and adoptive families have been blessed by Glennisí sacrificial love and willingness to fight for truth and the sanctity of life.

Mrs. Woodall was preceded in death by her father, Brannon Isenhower. She is survived by her mother, Doniece Isenhower; her husband, Gary Woodall; her children and their spouses, Christopher and Monica Woodall, Courtney and Joel Armstrong, Clarke and Tara Woodall and Colby Woodall; her grandchildren, Moriah, Madalyn, Zoie, Reagan, Mallory, Preston, Rebekah, Ezra and Layla; brothers, Brian and Dane Isenhower and their wives, Malinda and Leanne; and many nieces and nephews who will cherish her memory.
