GRANBURY — William G. “Bill” Hartshorn, 65, beloved husband and father, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2009, in Fort Worth.
The family will have a visitation from 6-8 p.m. Saturday at Wiley Funeral Home.

Mr. Hartshorn was born May 30, 1944, in Bishop, Calif., to William Herbert Hartshorn and Rose Olivia Jarvis Hartshorn. He married Janet Lindell, Aug. 29, 1971, in Bishop, Calif. Bill was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He graduated from Cal Poly - San Luis Obispo in 1973. The family has lived in Granbury since 1980 and Bill worked as a Quality Assurance Specialist at the Comanche Peak Nuclear Plant, retiring in 1999.
Survivors include his wife, Janet Hartshorn of Granbury; daughters, Jennie Hartshorn Reid and husband, Christian, of Denton, Lauren Hartshorn of Austin; grandchildren, Luke and Noah Reid of Denton; brother, James Hartshorn and wife, Michele of Bishop, Calif.; sister, Patricia Clark and husband, Richard, of Bishop, Calif.; brother-in-law, David Lindell and wife, Jane, of Redmond, Wash.; aunts, Eva Alva and Jean Jarvis; nieces, Olivia and Taylor Hartshorn, Nicole Lopez and Jaime Cervenka; nephews, Chris and Michael Lindell; and numerous cousins.
