STEPHENVILLE — Connie Mariea Warnock Rake, 63, passed away unexpectedly Monday, June 23, 2008.
In celebration of her life, a memorial service will be held at 12 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 2, 2008, at the Cowboy Church of Erath County, pastor Werth Mayes officiating.
A lifelong Oklahoma resident, Connie was born to Eddie and Leona Warnock on Dec. 3, 1944.
She was a dedicated member of the Cowboy Church of Erath County. Her enthusiasms included taking photographs during each phase of the new construction.
She was a member of Glen Rose Antique Tractor Club. She and Everette Passon shared a passion for tractor restoration and traveling to Antique Tractor shows.
She loved spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter, Hailee. She enjoyed reading and photography. She loved her horses and her Bassett Hound “Sam.”
She was preceded in death by her mother, Leona Warnock, sister, Ramona Theriot, son-in-law, Billy Hosfield, nephew, Tim Seigfried
Survivors include her companion Everett Passon of Stephenville and Burleson; father, Eddie Warnock and wife, Betty of Oklahoma; daughter, Sara Beth Hosfield and friend Aaron Decker of Red Oak; son, Jeff Afsup of Houston; sister, Cheryl Bishop of Oklahoma; granddaughter, Hailee Hosfield; nephews, Kevin Cooper and Shane Seigfried; very close friends, Marie and Edward Passon of Stephenville.
She had many friends and will be missed by all.
Her memory may be honored with a gift to the building fund at Cowboy Church of Erath County, 1917 W. Washington, Suite 3, Stephenville, TX 76401.
