WALNUT SPRINGS — Frances Felan Espinoza, 80, passed away Saturday, March 15, 2008, in the Goodall-Witcher Hospital in Clifton.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 19, 2008, in the Lawson Funeral Home Chapel in Meridian with Rev. Rob Walls and Kurt Dempsey officiating. Burial followed in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Walnut Springs.
Frances was born on April 12, 1927, in Evant to the late Melquidaz and Estefana Garza Felan. She married John. H. Espinoza on Aug. 20, 1962, in Glen Rose. She lived in Meridian for several years before moving to Walnut Springs. Frances was a retired seamstress in a sewing plant and a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Morgan.
Survivors include husband, John H. Espinoza of Walnut Springs; children, Teresa Gutierrez and David Conner of Walnut Springs, Rosa Bronstad, Eiojia and Billy Anderson, Mary Steuben, and George Rex Espinoza, all of Glen Rose, Catherine Shepard and Richard Schurr of Walnut Springs, and Raymond and Lisa Espinoza of Santa Fe; 16 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and a number of relatives who will miss her dearly.
