FRANKLIN, Tenn. — Michael Benjamin Daniel, 17, of Franklin, Tenn., passed away Thursday, May 19, from injuries sustained in an accident.
Funeral services were held the following Monday at Christ Presbyterian Church with Ryan Doyle officiating. Interment was at Williamson Memorial Gardens.
Active pallbearers were Beau, Brian and Noah Daniel, Joey Berends, Sam Landers, Austin Lewis, Chase Smith, Will Godwin and Jack and Ben Hooper.
Honorary pallbearers were the sophomore class of Christ Presbyterian Academy.
Michael was a sophomore and athlete at Christ Presbyterian Academy, where his fellow students surrounded him with love, support and continued prayers during this time with his family. Michael was deeply touched on a trip to China in the summer of 2009 to visit Maria's Big House of Hope.
Survivors are his parents, Dan and Donna Daniel of Franklin, Tenn.; brothers Beau Daniel of Nashville, Tenn., and Brian (Lauren Rogers) of Franklin; beloved nephew, Noah Daniel; sisters Bonnie Daniel of Franklin, Tenn., and Becky Daniel of Nashville, Tenn.; grandparents Joe and Barbara Crouch of Glen Rose and Floyd and Juanita Daniel of Searcy, Ark.; and other loving family members.
