GLEN ROSE - Ryan Lee Darby, “Texas,” 21, passed away Friday, August 14, 2009, in Fort Worth.

A funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Glen Rose High School Auditorium. Burial will follow at Brazos Point Cemetery. Visitation was held from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Wiley Funeral Home.

Memorials can be made to the Scholarship Fund, American Welding Society.

Ryan was born Sept. 3, 1987, in Cleburne, to Ralph Lee Darby and Judy Lynn Burns Darby. He was a graduate of Glen Rose High School and worked as a site quality inspector for Fluor Constructors at B.P. Refinery in Whiting, Ind. He was a member of the Corner Stone Church in Glen Rose and the American Welding Society. He was preceded in death by Patsy and Russell Burns “Papa” and Yvette Augustine Marie Darby.

Survivors include his parents Ralph and Judy Darby; sisters, Ashley Darby and Emily Darby; grandfather Ralph Lambert Darby; and many uncles, aunts, cousins, friends and co-workers.
