I read the diatribe in last week's letter to the editor about the present unconcerned revelations by some of our citizens of the present evidence of filth, physical hazards and the general degenerate state of some neighborhood situations. 

Answering the above, all of us should expect sanitary situations, safe areas and neatness. The costs of implementing these requirements are without any costs to complete or are very negligible.

The bottom line for requiring the above is for respective property owners to keep the value of their property.
