GLEN ROSE — The Glen Rose High School volleyball team is hosting the Luau on the Green golf tournament on Saturday, May 12, at Squaw Valley Golf Course.

The proceeds from the tournament will help cover the costs associated with the Lady Tigers’ trip to Hawaii to play in the prestigious Ann Kang Invitational volleyball tournament in Honolulu in early August. The tournament will feature some of the top varsity teams from the continental U.S. and Hawaii.

The four-person scramble format is $75 per player and includes green fee, car, range ball, breakfast, lunch and prizes.

Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. and the putting contest follows at 8:30 a.m. with the shotgun start beginning at 9 a.m.

In addition to the putting contest, there will be closest to the pin; longest drive; move up hole, gold ball lottery; a golf ball cannon; and other contests and raffles.

Following the tournament, lunch will be provided, and the awards and drawing results will be announced.
