Coach Gregger Yeager’s Glen Rose High School team tennis squad finished its 2018 season recently, taking third place in the four-team District 7-4A standings.

In an 11-8 victory over Godley at home, the Tigers won in No. 1 boys singles with Harrison Hawkins, along with No. 3 boys singles with Carson Osborne.

For the Lady Tigers in girls singles versus Godley, Natalie Lacey won her No. 1 singles match, along with teammates Hazel Hawkins at No. 2, Abby Green at No. 3, Abby Payne at No. 5 and Shelby Simpson at No. 6.

In doubles against Godley, Lacey and Green teamed to win their No. 1 match, along with Hazel Hawkins and Ashley Mena at No. 2, Payne and Simpson at No. 3 and Parker Simmons and Anna Quinlan teamed to win the mixed doubles match.

The Tigers and Lady Tigers will participate in individual tennis this spring.
