BRIDGEPORT — The eighth-ranked Glen Rose Lady Tigers advanced in the Class 4A volleyball playoffs Friday night with a 25-13, 25-17, 25-23 victory over Iowa Park to win the Area round and advance to the regional quarterfinals.

The Lady Tigers (35-7) will now meet the Argyle Lady Eagles, who swept Snyder, on Tuesday night at 7 p.m. at Azle High School in a rematch of last year’s state semifinal.

Libby Hinton led the Lady Tigers with 10 kills and four blocks, and Logan Smith added seven kills and 13 digs in the win over Iowa Park.

Bryanna Lytle nearly posted a double-double with nine kills and 21 digs. Alexis Mims led the Lady Tigers with five blocks, and Hanna Griffin had five kills and three blocks.

Mallory Rogers paced the Lady Tigers with 27 assists.
