Tarleton Volleyball is ranked No. 22 heading into this week's matches after the latest poll was released by the American Volleyball Coaches Association.

The Texans went 1-1 last week with a win over Cameron on Friday in the Wisdom Volleyball Gym.

The Texans (9-5) are one of two Lone Star Conference teams ranked by the AVCA, joining Angelo State who's ranked No. 21. Texas A&M-Commerce (76 votes) and Arkansas-Fort Smith (5) are both receiving votes in the poll. Cal State-San Bernardino, who the Texans played on Sept. 7 when they were ranked No. 2, remains at No. 1 for the fourth straight week. Tarleton has been ranked in 35 straight polls dating back to the 2016 season.

In just 14 matches so far this season, Tarleton has faced five ranked teams (2, 12, 14, 15, 19). Last season, the Texans only played three ranked matches in the regular season.
