A victory in the 4x200m relay and three wins in individual events propelled the seventh grade Tigers to a second-place finish with 141 points in the Cow Pasture Relays in Rio Vista last week.
Jayton Dillard, Parker Armstrong, Alex Cocita and Devin Riedemann combined to win the 4x200m event, scoring 20 points for Glen Rose.
The Tigers also scored 16 points with a second-place finish in the 4x400m relay that featured Daniel Zuniga, Jayden Reynolds, Hayden Holder and Dillard.
Zuniga won first in the triple jump, Hayden Swearengin won the 800m and Riedemann was the first finisher in the 200m.
The Tigers pulled in 20 points in the 200m with Armstrong placing fifth and Cocita fifth behind Riedemann.
The Tigers scored 17 points in the 800m. Behind Swearengin, Sam Strother was third and Carter Garrison was sixth.
Peyton Lytle also placed fifth in the triple jump, joining Zuniga in the event to give the Tigers 12 points. They also scored 12 in the 100m with Derek Kramer taking third, Strother fourth and Calven Hill fifth.
Glen Rose added 11 each in the high jump and 300m hurdles. Holder, Garrison and Lytle were third, fourth and sixth, respectively, in the high jump, while Jacob Locke was second, Reynolds fifth and Lytle sixth in the hurdle event.
Zuniga took second and Swearengin fifth in the 400m.
Cody Halcom was fourth in the 2,400m, Dillard placed fifth in the long jump and Garrison and Tyler Lester finished fifth and sixth, respectively in the 1,600m run.
