“It looked like a first game,” said Head Coach Sheree Hill after the Glen Rose Lady Tigers’ season opening defeat of the Alvarado Lady Indians Tuesday night.

“The girls played very hard, but not very smart at times,” continued Hill. “Alvarado threw a lot of things at us that we had a hard time with, but it’s a win and their is definitely room for improvement.”

Marissa Ballesteros and Kaitlin West led the way for the Lady Tigers with nine points, while Racia Ratliff and Caitlyn Spurgeon tallied seven, each.

Angelica Lisauckis, Jessie Calkins and Kaycie Brown rounded out the points with five, four and two respectively.

Glen Rose will have their home opener on Tuesday at 5 p.m.
