The JV Lady Tigers last week struggled with Kennedale, but overcame Alvarado, as did the varsity players, while the freshman team continued its district romp.

The JV fell to Kenndale, 20-25, 13-25.

Sloan Williams and Baylie Plaster led with five service points each, while Abby Cole, Maysen Mapes and Shelby Lacey each landed one.

A few days later, in district play against Alvarado, Plaster hit the double-digits with 14 service points, while teammate Mary McPherson added 13, followed by Abby Cole with seven, Williams with four and Mapes and Lacey with two each.

The varsity and JV teams are now 2-1 in district play, while the freshman Lady Tigers are 3-0.

Bryce Brownen led the way for the freshman against Kennedale, posting 11 service points. The freshman dominated Kennedale 25-13, 25-23.

Lexi Crabtree and Kalli Crabtree each put six points up on the scoreboard, while Meredith Odom and Kelsey Potter added three each and Brenna Ibarra scored two.

The freshman Lady Tigers continued their roll over Alvarado, 25-15, 25-12.

Brownen again was the high-scoring server with nine points. Lexi Crabtree followed with seven, Odom and Potter hit six each and Kalli Crabtree and Brenna Ibarra each scored two.
