Walnut Springs (9-2) overcame a 10-point halftime deficit to force overtime then outscored Bynum 14-10 in the extra session for a 68-64 non-district victory last week.

The Hornets found themselves trailing 31-21 at the break before outscoring Bynum 33-23 in the second half including 18-10 in the fourth quarter.

Carlos Lerma poured in 21 points for Walnut Springs, and also collected eight rebounds and four steals.

Mario Ballesteros scored 17 for the Hornets while also posting nine boards, five steals and six assists.

Kyle Roundtree just missed a triple-double with 10 points, 15 rebounds and nine blocks. He also dished out four assists.

Blas Lerma was also in double figures with 10 points and had six assists, while Jesse Ramos scored six points and Dylon Cooke added four.
