Kaitlin West dominated with 40 individual points to lead Glen Rose to a second-place finish in track and field action at Alavarado last week.

West won both the triple jump and high jump and was first in the 200m individually while also helping the Lady Tigers to first in both the 4x100m and 4x200m relays.

As a team Glen Rose tallied 135 points, 56 of them coming in the all-important relay races when points are doubled.

Joining West in the 4x100m were Sao Sannoh, Reilly Junge and Gina Sannoh. The 4x200m featured West on the anchor leg behind Jaylan Dillard, Sao Sannoh and Gina Sannoh.

The Lady Tigers placed second in the 4x400m relay consisting of Dillard, Sao Sannoh, Gina Sannoh and Junge.

Junge scored 27 points. In addition to the relay success, the freshman standout was first in the 100m hurdles and second behind only West in the triple jump.

Carly Payne won the discus for Glen Rose while Kitty Navarrete took third in the shot put.
