Glen Rose golf is regional bound.

The GRHS boys team placed second in the District 7-3A tournament, posting a two-round score of 647. The Tigers now advance to the Class 3A Region I Tournament, set for Tuesday-Thursday at Meadowbrook Canyon Golf Course in Lubbock.

Gatesville won the 7-3A title with a total of 614, while China Spring placed third at 682.

The Tigers shot a 321 in the opening round at at Gatesville Country Club last week before firing a 326 at Lake Waco Golf Club on Monday.

Austin Jordan tied for fourth individually, shooting an 81 in Gatesville and a 75 in Waco for a total of 156. Hunter Blanks tied for sixth, going 79-79 for a total of 158. Shane Washburn and Tanner Tongate also cracked the top 10, with Washburn finishing 9th in (75-88) 163 strokes and Tongate tying for 10th in (88-84) 172. Bryce Greer was 14th in (86-88) 174.

Individual medalists for Glen Rose included Blaine Lamb, who tied for 10th in (89-83) 172, Patrick MaGee, who tied for 26th in (108-102) 210 and Logan Caylor.

The Glen Rose girls placed fourth in 7-3A, posting a two-day total of (507-505) 1,012.

Chelsi McNally led the Lady Tigers by placing 11th overall in (110-106) 216 strokes. Others competitors were freshmen Kelly Olinick, Morgan Bruce and Savannah Hulsey.

China Spring won the girls event with a total of 679.
