Three field event victories, a win in the 4x200m relay and a host of top six finishes led Glen Rose to 142 points and a tie for first with Rio Vista at the varsity girls relays in Godley on Saturday.

Brielle Nicholson won both the discus and shot put with respective heaves of 85 feet, eight and 1/2 inches and 34-02. She was joined in the winners circle by Kaitlyn West, who won the high jump for the Lady Tigers by clearing 4-08.

Haley Coffer finished second in discus with a throw of 83-04 and third in shot put at 30-01.5, while Teryl Dunn was fourth in discus with a toss of 77-00.

Casey Cummins took fourth in the high jump before beginning the Lady Tigers' success on the track with a third-place finish in the 3,200m run with a time of 16:15.

In the relay events, Glen Rose blitzed the competition in the 4x200m event as Katy Irvin, Kelsie Purnell, Kaitlyn West and Regan Ritter teamed up for a time of 1:58.11. The Lady Tigers were second in the 4x100m relay as Rebecca Hajny, Jaylan Dillard, Ritter and Irvin stopped the clock in 57.34 seconds, and also placed second in the 4x400m race with a time of 4:32.71. Mile relay runners for Glen Rose were Gina Sannoh, Dillard, Parnell and West.

In individual running events, Irvin placed second in the 100m with a time of 13.64. Jenna Lopez was fourth in the event at 14.33, while Hajny had a time of 14.41 to place fifth.

Brianna Crawford was third in the 800m in 2:54.00, Dillard and Sannoh were third and fourth, respectively, in the 400m with times of 1:09.78 and 1:10.83 and Ritter also took fifth in the 200m in 30.14 ticks of the clock.
