Jessie Calkins went the distance for the Glen Rose Lady Tigers on Friday when the Hillsboro Eagles made a trip to the friendly confines of Glen Rose.

Hillsboro came away with a 6-2 win over Glen Rose.

Calkins walked only two and struck out four, but the defense struggled to make the plays behind her, allowing four errors and four unearned runs.

From the dish, Angelica Lisauckis led the way with three base knocks, an RBI and a run scored.

Calkins and Danielle Whitlock each managed two hits, with Whitlock also working a walk and Calkins crossing the plate.

Dani Weiderich provided a hit and an RBI, and Teryl Dunn also tallied a base hit.

Glen Rose headed to West on Tuesday for a duel with the District 7-3A favorite Lady Trojans, and will continue the road trip on Friday in Whitney. First pitch is slated for 7 p.m.
