Host Glen Rose accumulated 42 points in the varsity boys division of the Tiger Relays last week.

Jesus Aguilar had the highest finish of the day for the Tigers, placing second in the 400 meter run with a time of 51.66 seconds.

Aguilar also anchored a pair of relay teams that placed in the top six. The 4x100m team that also featured Jared Morgan, Ernesto Salinas and Jesse Betsill placed fifth in 45.63 seconds and 4x400 team that also included Blake Eschbach, Cody Burtscher and Betsill took fourth in 3:36.4.

Glen Rose was also fifth in the 4x200m relay, stopping the lock in 1:35.5. Runners included Burtscher, Eschbach, Morgan and Salinas.

The same names dotted the standings in other events as Eschbach was fourth in the triple jump at 38 feet, 11-1/2 inches, Betsill placed fourth in the 300m hurdles in 43.26 seconds, Morgan was fifth in the pole vault by clearing 11-6 and Burtscher finished fifth in the 110m hurdles in 16.86.

Denver Tipton completed the scoring by clearing 5-10 to place third in the high jump.
