Glen Rose rolled up 153 points to win the JV girls division of the Tiger Relays last week.

The Lady Tigers won five events and had 20 top-six finishes at the meet.

Two of the wins came in relays when points are doubled. Mika Kelly, Sammy Simons, Katie Uehlein and Morgan Bruce won both the 4x100m and 4x200m relays. The other first-place finishes were by Macy Reynolds in the long jump, Shelby Lacey in the 100m hurdles and Kelsie Fleetwood in the 300m hurdles.

The 4x400m relay team picked up 12 points for its third-place finish. Running the event were Brittan Sanderson, Cindy Martinez, Uehlein and Bruce.

There were a host of second-place individual finishes.

Destiny Ponce was second in the shot put, Christine Sheets was the runner-up in the discus and Samantha Montoya placed second in pole vault. Kelsie Fleetwood took second in the 100m hurdles and Shelby Lacey was second in the 300m hurdles.

Reynolds was third in the long jump and Jenna Brannon was third in the 1,600m run. Julie Montellano also ran the 1,600m, placing fourth, and Julie Montellano and Matalyn Hazel added two more fourth place finishes in the 800m and the discus.

Tyne Sexton was fifth in the triple jump, Martinez fifth in the 400m and Simons fifth in the 200m.

Jenna Brannon took sixth in the 800m to round out the scoring.
