Glen Rose Lady Tigers head coach Sheree Hill said her team played one of their best games of the season and one of their worst, but both ended in losses.

Meridian reeled off the first win 48-44 last week and then Tolar handed Glen Rose a 53-31 loss on Monday.

The Meridian game went down to the wire, but free throws with less than 15 seconds left sealed the deal for the Lady Jackets.

Reilly Junge had a season-high 19 points and Racia Ratliff led all rebounders.

In “the worst game of the year (against Tolar),” Hill said her squad was out of sync and just didn’t play well.

The Lady Tigers will take time away for the Christmas holiday and return to action on Dec. 29 against John Paul II, ranked No. 5 in the PCI Big School League, in tournament play in Bryan.
