The Glen Rose 9th red football team scored first but then surrendered 20 unanswered points in a 20-8 loss to Graham last week.

The Tigers rolled up almost 200 yards in the first half, but struggled to move the ball after the break. Graham, meanwhile, got on the board to knot the score at 8-8 late in the second before pulling away after halftime.

Bobby Guinn led the Tigers offense with 164 rushing yards, while Cody Burtscher had 45 yards, Curry Mapes ran for six yards and the Tigers’ only touchdown and two-point conversion, Luke Pugh ran for 15 yards, Colton Bretton, Jensen Nash and Jamie Ingram added six each and Blake Eschbach rushed for five. Austin Mapes added a 12-yard reception.

Burtscher led the defense with 11 tackles, while Guinn and Logan Dougless each had fumble recovers and Nash and Josh Mena both picked off Graham passes.
