GRHS Theater Department wins district title in OAP

GLEN ROSE — The Glen Rose High School One-Act Play brought home the district championship on March 6 in Glen Rose with five students receiving all-district honors.

Lee Martin won a tech award, while Audie Ross and Lilla Boyett were named all-star cast, and Trinity McClure and Jillian Kirkley were named all-star cast honorable mention.

At the bi-district meet March 24, in Graham, Glen Rose placed third, but Kirkley was named the top actress, and Boyett was all-star cast and Ross was all-star cast honorable mention.

The theater department will present its award-winning play “White Room of My Remembering” by Jean Lenox Toddie on April 21-22 at 6 pm. at the Glen Rose High School Auditorium.

Tickets are $5 at the door.
