'The Promise' offers Somervell County residents free admission opening weekend

GLEN ROSE -- In the fall of 2015, The Promise in Glen Rose, TX will celebrate 27 seasons of inspiring performances at the Texas Amphitheatre in Glen Rose! They would like to thank the residents of Somervell County for their continued support with big opening weekend discounts!

Based on Scripture and hailed as one of the most powerful stage experiences ever produced, The Promise spans the entire life of Jesus from the prophets who foretold His coming to His glorious Ascension in the clouds. The Promise brings a life-changing story, amazing special effects, stunning voices, and a moving experience of the heart that you will never forget. More than two decades after its debut, The Promise continues to be a beloved Texas destination.

Opening weekend (September 4th and 5th) The Promise is offering Somervell County Residents with ID, FREE Admission, and guests of county residents a $10 per ticket discount when they call the box office to order tickets! Donations of nonperishable food items are also being collected to benefit Somervell County Food Bank, also known as “Papa’s Pantry”.
