Glen Rose volleyball players Matti Young (pictured) and Aimee Flippen recorded 16 kills each in the Lady Tigers’ 25-20, 25-14, 25-19 road win at Robinson on Tuesday night, and Young and Brooklynn Vara had nine kills each in a 25-8, 25-9, 25-15 win over Castleberry on Friday to run their record to 17-10 with the two-match winning streak. The Lady Tigers are back in action on Friday at 4:30 p.m. when they host Kennedale at Tiger Arena. They were originally scheduled to open district play on Tuesday with Brownwood, but that match was moved. They will host Nolan Catholic on Thursday at Tiger Arena.
