Miami Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa will kick off his first full season under center as the starter. Below, we look at Tua Tagovailoa's 2021 fantasy football average draft position (ADP) and where you should draft him.

The Dolphins kicked the training wheels off late in the season and handed Tagovailoa the keys to the car. He had some growing pains but took the team to a 10-win season and within a whisker of a postseason berth.

By letting veteran QB Ryan Fitzpatrick go to the Washington Football Team in the offseason, it's the "Tua Show" in South Florida now.

Tagovailoa has been going off the board as the No. 21 quarterback in redraft fantasy leagues, or as a low-end QB2 in leagues of 12 or more teams. He has been just behind New York Jets rookie QB Zach Wilson (ADP 124.91) and just behind Indianapolis Colts QB Carson Wentz (ADP 127.46) in redraft leagues.

Where should you take Tagovailoa in your fantasy football draft?

Tagovailoa has been targeted as a low-end QB2 in most fantasy formats, and therefore his appeal is a little on the limited side.

However, the Dolphins drafted former Alabama teammate WR Jaylen Waddle to give Tagovailoa another option downfield. Waddle will pair with holdover WRs DeVante Parker and Will Fuller to give the Dolphins an injury-prone, but very talented wide receiver corps.

WR Lynn Bowden Jr ., converted quarterback from his days at Kentucky, showed some signs of life last season, and WRs Preston Williams and Jakeem Grant also have speed to burn.

The running game for the Dolphins leaves a lot to be desired, so Tagovailoa will likely be jacking the ball up plenty in 2021. Plus, don't forget about TE Mike Gesicki , who has also proven to be a very valuable asset at times.

Can Tagovailoa be a fantasy option worth starting? It depends. He'll definitely see some starts for fantasy managers in leagues of 16 or more teams. He has lesser appeal in leagues of 12 or fewer teams, and he'll likely only be active on bye weeks or when your primary option has a difficult matchup or an injury.

On draft day, Tagovailoa can mostly be left to the waiver wire except for deeper leagues.
